Information About APEA Events in Light of COVID-19

Advanced Practice Education Associates is closely monitoring the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic and all mandates and guidance from local and national health agencies, as well as local governments. The health and safety of APEA customers and employees is our foremost concern. APEA is fully operational during this national crisis.

APEA is following recommendations to suspend public gatherings. All APEA Live Review Courses scheduled through June 2 are being provided in a live webinar format. If you have already registered for a course scheduled between March 15 and June 2, you will receive emails with important information and links. Please check the inbox for the email address you used to register, including your spam and junk folders. If you are searching for a live review course, please see our detailed 2020 schedule here. This list will be updated as guidance is issued, so please visit this page often.

APEA courses delivered via webinar provide LIVE — not pre-recorded — lectures for the material otherwise delivered at a live course. APEA courses via webinar also provide live access to the presenters, Amelie Hollier, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP, and Mimi Secor, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN. Attendees can ask questions just as they would at an on-site event. In addition, APEA courses delivered via webinar provide the APEA Live Course Guarantee and the same product discounts you would receive at an onsite course.

The APEA Review Course & Clinical Update delivered via live webinar provides education via a proven technology platform that companies use every day to provide live events. The webinar course delivers the course on the same dates you would have normally attended the on-site event, and it includes direct access to the presenters using chat and discussion features. Beyond COVID-19

If you are registered for a course that falls between March 15 and May 10 and would like to transfer to a course later in 2020, we will be happy to accommodate you at no charge. Please send an email to questions@apea.com to make this request.

Orders shipped by mail: At APEA headquarters, we have significantly increased the frequency with which we clean and sanitize our packing room, offices, and surfaces. We are emphasizing respiratory etiquette and proper hand hygiene, and requiring frequent workstation cleaning.

Office staffing: Should the progression of the COVID-19 pandemic lead to recommendations for office closure, APEA has contingency plans that will permit us to continue providing services to customers. Our staff will continue to be responsive to your needs throughout any shutdowns or periods of staff member quarantine.
