There are currently several FDA approved medications as well as one recently pulled off the market. This course will review these medications as well as safety considerations in the selection of AOM and ongoing monitoring for safe use. Using case studies, learn how to communicate expected results and potential side effects as well as what to do when patients do not respond as expected. Lastly, this course will discuss the essential need to provide diet and behavior modification as a foundation for obesity therapies and provide examples of how to incorporate these therapies into clinic visits along with how to document them in the medical record.
