Ms. Gahan has been a preceptor for many nurse practitioner students in addition to being adjunct faculty professor at SUNY Poly. She has been a recipient of the AANP Nurse Practitioner of the Year Award, NY State. She has served as past Vice-Chair of Nurse Practitioner Association for Continuing Education (NPACE) and has been a guest lecturer at numerous nurse practitioner conferences.
