RUN TIME
Approximately 24 total hours of content. Video segments average 20 minutes each.

A certificate will be awarded after all content has been accessed and the course evaluation has been completed. To activate the evaluation, view (video) or listen to (audio) the entire course at least once and answer both sets of questions. ACCESS
Access the course content via the APEA app or via browser at www.apeacecenter.com. Google Chrome is required for viewing in a browser. For app access, download the APEA app for iOS or Android. To access the course on either delivery platform, log in with your APEA account username and password. Find the course in the CE Center and click on the title of the first lecture (lectures must be accessed in order). The Course Manual is posted in segments labeled by lecture title.
FACULTY
This course is taught by Leanne H. Fowler, DNP, MBA, APRN, AGACNP-BC, CNE, and Charlotte Pattison, DNP, AGACNP-BC, FNP-BC, CCRN.
Leanne H. Fowler is an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner who is the coordinator of the AGACNP concentration at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where she is also the director of NP programs. She has earned national board certifications as an AGACNP, a critical care nurse, and as a nurse educator. Dr. Fowler has written multiple journal articles and books and is active in state, regional and national organizations representing nurse practitioners and nurses.
Charlotte Pattison is an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner at University Medical Center of New Orleans and West Jefferson Medical Center, where she provides comprehensive management for neurologic patients requiring ICU care. She has earned national board certifications as an AGACNP, a family nurse practitioner and a critical care nurse. Dr. Pattison serves as an adjunct faculty member for Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and the University of South Alabama, and she is a member of state and national organizations representing nurse practitioners and nurses.
