PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This lecture, recorded during the 2020 Live Review Course & Clinical Update, educates NPs about the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions commonly seen in primary care. Content reflects evidence-based guidelines and focuses on the most important steps in diagnosis and management.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to:

  2. State the common symptoms and specific assessment findings associated with hypertension, heart failure, dyslipidemia and heart murmurs.
  3. Identify the appropriate pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic management options for patients with hypertension, heart failure, dyslipidemia and heart murmurs.
