Dr. Ebony Blackmon Humphrey is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in the management of perinatal mood disorders, childhood sexual trauma, and treatment-resistant severe, persistent mental illness. She is a moderator and facilitator for the APEA Review Course & Clinical Update for PMHNPs. Dr. Blackmon Humphrey practices full time as a PMHNP and behavioral consultant at Caritas Critical Case Management, a behavioral care management company serving vulnerable populations. Her prior professional experiences include positions a nurse educator and a psychiatric nurse. Dr. Blackmon Humphrey’s clinical interests led to her doctoral project focus on patient-centered care and spiritual competence in the treatment of patients with chronic mental illness.
