Janette Bowers

Janette Bowers, DNP, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner who has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including emergency medicine, critical care, cardiovascular surgery, family practice, and HIV medicine. She teaches the APEA Live Review Course & Clinical Update for FNPs and AGPCNPs as well as NCLEX review courses for APEA’s parent company, ATI. Dr. Bowers is an assistant professor at the University of the Virgin Islands and practices in an underserved clinic, working mainly with HIV-positive patients and the homeless population on the island of St. Croix, USVI. Dr. Bowers has received a state award for excellence from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a leadership award from Frontier Nursing University.
