Testimonials
Dr. Hollier and Dr. Secor are two of the best NP instructors! The first time I read Dr. Hollier's Clinical Guidelines book, I knew she was going to be a fantastic educator. I used this book throughout my entire NP program and will continue to carry it with me as I practice. I am grateful for the way the book is laid out, so organized and easy to follow. Then, while studying for my FNP exam, I began using APEA's video course review. These two ladies do an amazing job of reviewing each body system and WOW, the way they explain everything is a true gift. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us! I am forever thankful and can only hope that I can influence someone else's career the way you have helped shape mine.

Categories: APEA Live Webinar Review CourseI cannot say enough great things about this course! The comprehensive review helped not only to study for test content but also for entry into practice. This course was a vital part of my success on the AGNP exam. Please let the instructors know how very thankful I am for their hard work in preparing and delivering the course content. I will absolutely utilize APEA for CE credits in the future.

Categories: APEA On Demand Review CoursesWhat an amazing experience and EVERYONE was so helpful. I will not be graduating from my FNP program until February 2024, but this class should be at the forefront of all student's minds to not only prepare them for boards, but to better prepare them for exams/finals while still in their program. My test anxiety started in nursing school and has only worsened over time. Karen Myrick, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, ONP-BC, FAAN and Lindsey Luther, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, CNE, EBP(CH) were engaging, funny, and relatable. I really appreciated you having all the study & practice resources available at the back table to browse throughout the course to help in making purchase decisions. Clinical Guidelines in Primary Care, 4th Edition, is a must have for students! I do wish there was an option for taking the live course again before I take boards, as a refresher at a discounted price, reusing your book. THANK YOU!

Categories: APEA Online Testing CenterVery informative and engaging. I passed my certification boards on the first attempt. The course reinforcements all of the things I learned during my studies. Some things were explained in a much more simple way that helped them stick in my brain. It was a good review course.

Categories: APEA ToolsTook the course in Baton Rouge on 3/27-28/2023. I have been told by so many people how great this course was going to be at tying things together and I don't think that any of them were lying. Both speakers were dynamic, spirited, and seemed well-versed in the topics that they were covering. Both speakers were extremely polite and would talk to us during the breaks and never made me feel uncomfortable. I wish this class would have been 1-2 days longer. If I had to have one complaint, it would be the speed at which one of the speakers would go through the sections. Please do not assume that this is in any way related to a "New-Englander" talking to a "Southerner," and me not being able to keep up. This was a general consensus of the people that I discussed the issue with. Overall, loved the course, highly recommend.

Categories: APEA ToolsThe 4th edition of Clinical Guidelines in Primary Care is amazing and worth every penny. I bought it at the beginning of my 2nd out of 4 clinical rotations and was kicking myself for not purchasing soon. I love how it breaks each diagnosis down, making it easy to understand. It has all the latest guidelines in one book and includes all of the screenings according to age group from USPSTF. It was super helpful for my weekly discussion post, writing soap notes, and use in the clinical site. I will continue to use this in practice. Thanks, Hollier and all the other contributors!!!
Categories: APEA BooksI highly recommend the live review course. The speakers, Karen and Kathy, were great at answers questions and explaining the information in an easier way.
Categories: APEA Live Onsite Review CourseI thoroughly enjoyed the program. I learned so much with in the two days I was present. Great presenters and amazing content.
Categories: APEA Live Onsite Review CourseThis was probably the BEST course I have ever attended either online or in person. Speakers were knowledgeable and engaging. Material was very relevant. I appreciated that they kept things on time and flowing smoothly. I do think we should have a short 10 min break between major areas of content. The text was easy to understand and well written. I loved that the hotel was affordable, modern and higher end. The only real complaint I have is the dining situation. There are restaurants within waking distance but little fast food. If you can't walk or weather is bad you really have no options for lunch. We had issues with door dash and were not the only people that did. Please consider either catering or providing box lunches at a cost. I would be happy to pay $10-15 so I could be assured I would get lunch or...a hotel with a restaurant that is open for lunch.
